What is a Trash the Dress Session?

Now that the wedding is over, you have two choices of what to do with the dress. You can suffocate it in a plastic bag and hope that your daughter will want to wear it in 20 years, or you can put it back on and have some fun. 

     Beautiful, fun, weird, different, amazing, lovely, and sometimes wet and messy. These are the words that describe the trend of juxtaposing a lovely dressed person into an unexpected situation. Your dress won't necessarily get trashed but I won't hesitate in asking you to sit down on a dirt road, lay on the grass or sand, lean against a moss covered tree, jump into a pool or have a snowball fight in your finest, all in the spirit of artistic expression. These images can truly capture your personality in a real way that is unthinkable on your wedding day.

Dress trashing can be as tame or as wild as your imagination. If you see yourself as a wild child at heart, this is for you.
These are images taken after you have worn your dress for its debut special occasion and are now ready to have some real fun with it. Bridal dress, prom dress, vintage dress, party dress.
A walk thru the grocery store in your bridesmaids dress.A group of best friends jump into a pool in your prom dresses. A trip through (and I mean through) the cool fountain at Millenium Park, These are the images you can't get on most wedding days but would be so cool to have.

Remember a trashing doesn't always mean a trashing. Maybe just a dry cleaning:))
Just think, if the dress really does get trashed you can have it cut up and made into
a wedding dress chuppa, a cool purse,or combine it with other saved special clothes and fabrics for a patchwork quilt. Just think of the memories and the outstanding images you will have to remember it by.

Our Trash The Dress Photography Package is $300.00 and includes the following

·         One hour of photography in one outdoor location, capturing approximately 100 images

·         We then select the ten (10) best images and do a complete Photoshop tweak session (adjusting levels, color saturation, conversions to black & white, etc.)

·         All images scanned to DVD with both hi-res and lo-res images are included 

·         Reproduction Rights are assigned to you allowing you to make your own reprints and enlargements.

·         Make-up Artist available ($75 per hour - 1 hour minimum)

Booking Fee

Our booking fee for the Trash the Dress Collection is $150, with the balance payable not later than 42 days before the wedding date. To pay securely through PayPal, please use the button below.
