Paying for an event designer’s services brings specialized experience into every aspect of your event. Event designers have “seen it all” as they have experience planning and overseeing all types of events. This allows them to navigate quickly through the myriad of event details and emergencies. Ecreations serves as your creative partner -- not just by overseeing logistical matters -- but providing a wealth of resources, ideas, opinions and insights. Ecreations has professional relationships with vendors in all budget categories that they have thoroughly researched so you avoid the hours of legwork ensuring vendors are not only legit, but are the best they can be. Hiring Ecreations will save you stress during the planning process and especially on the actual day of your event so you can enjoy your party and your guests to the fullest.
 

Ecreation believes that the flat event design fee is more than paid for through money saving idea generation, vendor negotiation capability and automatic discounts, access to a vast complimentary event décor inventory, eliminating your need to learn best practices in event planning from scratch, lessening your stress level, and, most importantly, saving you valuable time. Ecreations offers a free half-hour consultation after which you will be mailed a customized event design proposal based on the consultation and a worksheet you fill out about the basics of your event.

 

The base Ecreations fee is $500 and evolves based on the scale or complexity of the project; usually between $1,000 and $4,000. Typically planners are paid 10 to 15 percent of your total event budget.

Design Packages

Consult – Hourly consulting works for clients who have experience putting on a special event production, but want a dose of extra help. Our consulting services offer fresh ideas, budget preparation, vendor recommendations or research, general event support, on-site management, etc.

 

$75 per hour

 

Styling - Flat fee based on the scale and complexity of the event. Ecreations creates an overall visual design theme for your special event which includes color selection, layout, design element research and selection, design diagrams, unique event craft creation, set-up and tear-down.

 

$300+

 

Oversight – Also called “Day-Of” planning – though Ecreations goes far beyond just the day-of. This flat rate allows the client to relax and worry about celebrating the event they have been working on for months. This package includes a lengthy initial meeting at the time of contract signing to address any general event questions, get vendor recommendations for the client to contact, and for both parties to get to know the event and planning style.

 

Another meeting is held two to three weeks prior to the event date to finalize details and address any last minute issues. From there the Ecreations crew is on-site to oversee all event details from set-up to event strike. As always, Ecreations is the first vendor to arrive and the last to leave. The client may also contact Ecreations at anytime during their planning process to ask additional event planning questions at no additional charge.

 

$1,000 – 2,500 depending on the individual event elements (location, guest count, details, etc.)

 

Design – The most popular package! This flat fee package is ideal for clients who want a guide to help them express their event vision and style, but do not want to handle all of the time-consuming tasks of making their vision a reality. After signing the event design contact, the client and Ecreation set up periodic meetings (usually monthly) to meet and discuss the client’s event elements. Ecreations brings relevant information to each of the meetings so the client can choose from an array of event options. After each meeting decisions are carried out by Ecreation and the client and updates are provided at the following meeting. 

 

This package includes monthly timeline and budget updates, customized event ideas, unlimited access to a Ecreations planner, planner contact with all vendors, production of specialized event elements (crafting décor, favors, etc.), full use of the vast inventory of Ecreation event supplies, and more. The Ecreations crew is on-site to oversee and implement all event details from set-up to event strike.

 

$1,500 - $4,500 depending on the individual event elements (location, guest count, details, etc.)

 

Production – – For clients who wish for Ecreations to “take the ball and run with it”. This type of project involves clients defining a goal for their special event and then the reigns are handed over for Ecreations to design and orchestrate all event elements within the defined budget.

Note About Smaller Events: Ecreations would be excited to price out design for your “smaller” event. The fee estimates above are based on the typical (larger) size/complexity of an event where people more commonly seek a planner’s help. Smaller events can become very special and memorable as a result of great design and coordination and at a smaller fee: breakfast meetings, showers, children’s parties, business luncheons, open houses, holiday parties, in-home dinners, and many more.
